Held in Late august the Blues and Brews Festival in Westford MA  at the Nashoba Valley Ski Area. There will be tons of entertainment including Jay Giles and other Blues artists.

The Beer and Blues cost is $35 and well worth it with dozens of free sample beers from over a dozen breweries, several blues bands, great food and BBQ, chicken, hamburgers, hot dogs and what is billed as Oktoberfest food (in August).

This festival also features a homebrew competition for all of those homebrewers who believe they have an award winning beer to sample. In addition there will be homebrew demonstrations for anyone who would like to learn more about how to brew great beer.

More entertainment includes raffles, games, crafts and vendor booths plus a beautiful sand beach, with lifeguard if the weather holds up.

Kids must be accompanied by an adult.
