| Pittsburgh’s Brew at the Zoo takes place in Mid August and will feature over a dozen brewers offering some of their best craft brewed beers. The event will also have live music, food non-alcoholic beverages and the exotic animals of the Pittsburgh Zoo.
Families are welcome and the proceeds of the brew at the zoo will benefit the United Mitochondrial Disease Foundation for research, education and treatment of victims of these diseases.
In addition to the professionals, homebrewers are encouraged to being in their best home brew for a competition and there is no cost to enter the homebrew competition part of the Pittsburgh Brew at the Zoo festival.
All families and groups are encouraged to have a designated driver and to remember that there will be families and that the event is to help fight a terrible disease.
