The Great Japan Beer festival is one of the largest of it’s kind and probably the largest in Japan. Featuring over 120 different craft brews from around the world, this festival hits 3 different cities throughout the summer months in Osaka, Tokyo and Yokohama; August, June and September respectively.

Started in 1998 the festival draws nearly 100,000 participants combined for the 3 cities. Tickets run between 3000 – 5000 yen, depending on location and advanced tickets are available starting May 1.

This festival also ties into the Japan Asia Beer Cup held each year as a precursor to those competitions in many cases. This competition is available throughout Japan and much of Asia and competition beers may become available in your areas.
