In the Formby Hall in Atherton England in late January every year they hold the Bent & Bongs Beer Bash. This is a three day event to try to warm the English souls during their frigid winter.

The sessions start on Thursday at 6pm and last till almost Midnight. The same is true for Friday except that the festivities start an hour earlier and then there are two sessions (day and evening) on Saturday. CAMRA members take £1 off any session price.

There will be terrific entertainment all 3 days including live local music. The festival will feature 80 real ales including 20 winter ales, ciders and perries. Admission includes a programme and a souvenir glass. The hall is organized into three bars each with their own select type of beers.
