The annual AleFest in Dayton Ohio is one of the larger beer festivals held around the United States and will be held again this year in Carillion park. Since 1999 this beer festival has been held each in late August and is one of the best places to be for regional beers, great food and terrific entertainment.

In addition to all the fun that the Dayton AleFest generates it also creates revenue for charitable organizations through the festival proceeds. Each year the Dayton festival selects a new charity to donate to.

This year’s event will feature over 300 Craft Beers from over 50 world class craft breweries, obviously with heavy emphasis on both draught and cask Ales. They have expanded the beer and food tents to accommodate the festival goers. There will be an auction for beer memorabilia a raffle, pizza and subs food concessions and entertainment

There will be a shuttle bus from Tank’s bar to the festival and back to the bar and attendees are of course advised to make sure to have a designated driver for the festival.
